Yes, it has been a very long time.  I thought when I created this blog, that I would update the world with all the hikes and summer excitement we had with Norton.  Well, I was a slacker, to say the least.  We hiked, and hiked, and hiked.  Many great adventures.  Now we are slowing down for the winter, but life is still fast paced.

Norton has a new little brother, Herbert.  He is now 14 weeks old and we have gone on our first adventure.  Herbert and Norton, both, love the snow.  Although I think Herbert may get a bit tired before Norton does.....

No matter, we will continue to take them both out on adventures this winter, and look forward to the summer hikes with both of them. 

They are awesome, and we love our two pups.  I promise to keep you updated on their busy lifestyle...

Norton went on his first hike on June 4, 2012.  He was four months and two days old.  It was approximately three miles, round trip, and it wore him out!

It was still early enough in the season to have snow piles, which Norton loved.  He was so busy running around, smelling all the new smells and checking out every plant that he didn't even notice we had company....

We hiked to the top of the hill with the hope of seeing these bulls.  They were nowhere to be found and the hike up was windy.  Norton was not digging it!  But once we were at the top, he was happy to pose for me.  Handsome pair, eh?

Great views, a lovely day and the best company!
